It features an electrostatically close-grain distribution and cooling additives for optimal sanding behaviour on metal surfaces. The grit is bonded using fully synthetic resin on vulcanised fibre F-paper for wear resistance in heavy-duty applications. Quick changes and easy handling are possible thanks to the Bosch direct force hook-and-loop-backed fastening system. The F550 Expert for Metal has an excellent material removal rate on metal surfaces. Its zirconia alumina abrasive grit delivers a brilliant removal rate with high durability, nearing that of fibre discs. Furthermore, the high rotational material removal rate enables minimal work effort to reach the desired results. The vulcanised F-paper is wear-resistant and ensures stability in tough materials. It is intended for dry sanding steel, steel alloys, stainless steel (Inox) and titanium, as well as surface roughing and sanding for welding seams and transitions. It is also ideal for performance-orientated processing, deburring, cleaning and derusting of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium as well as non-ferrous metals.
