The plate is coated with high-quality carbide with grit 40 for high wear resistance, providing it exceptionally extended usage. Its open-coat carbide coating allows for aggressive material removal without clogging or buildup, allowing the plate to last longer. This plate is ideal for removing thick layers of paint and lacquer as well as mortar and glue residues from wooden materials and wood-plastic composites. It can be used for rasping weathered wood and is perfect for sanding applications on epoxy and carbon fibre. The Starlock MAVZ 116 RT2 Carbide RIFF Sanding Plate's extra-large delta-shape allows it to reach tight corners and sand large areas. Its Starlock Max system offers maximum depth, speed and versatility in even the most demanding heavy-duty applications. The special mounting system produces the highest power transfer thanks to a 3-dimensional tight-fitting connection between machine and accessory.
